天津水上公園是天津市規模最大的綜合性公園，原稱青龍潭，作為風景遊覽區，其歷史可追溯至上世紀初，

因其有東、西、南三大湖與11個

島嶼

組成，所以取名水上公園。

天津號稱七十二沽，以水為富。水上公園前身是天津城南的八里臺窪澱群，舊稱“青龍潭”。經過70年的發展，形成了“九島八橋三湖水，七園三廊兩長堤”的美麗景色。今天我們就講一講青龍潭的故事。相傳小青龍為海龍王祝壽，途遇此地大旱，遂耕耘播雨，獲罪於龍王，被斬於此。後化作娟娟泉水滋養這一方水土，這一傳說被姜雲山先生撰寫成《青龍潭記》鐫刻在漢白玉龍形石上，而這塊景石的頂部也恰似巨龍盤臥，與傳說相應成趣。

在西湖碼頭岸邊，鐫刻著中國書法家協會顧問王學仲先生的草書作品，青龍潭，款識水上湖泊舊有青龍潭之名，其字型用筆瀟灑、古健雄渾、龍飛鳳舞、酣暢淋漓。引得眾多遊客紛紛駐足品評，嘖嘖稱讚。

Tianjin is rich in water。 The predecessor of the Shuishang Park is the Balitai Group in the south of Tianjin。 After 70 years of development， it has formed a beautiful place which accompanied by mysterious legends。 At the West Lake dock， there is a landscape stone inscribed by Mr。 Wang Xuezhong， a former consultant of Chinese calligrapher。 Today we will tell the story of Qinglong Tan。 Legend has it that little dragon celebrated the birthday of the Dragon King of the Sea。 On his way， he encountered  severe drought here， so he sowed rain。 He was convicted by the Dragon King and beheaded here。 Later， it turned into spring water to nourish this side of the soil。 This legend was written by Mr。 Jiang Yunshan as “The Story of the Qinglong Tan” and engraved on the white marble stone。 The top of this stone is also like a giant dragon lying on， which is interesting to the legend。

On the shore of the West Lake ， engraved with the cursive works of Mr。 Wang Xuezhong， named Qinglongtan， which attracted many tourists to stop and admire it。
