蘇寧博物館是蘇寧文化繼蘇寧藝術館之後推進文產事業程序的又一新興專案，意欲傳承和發揚傳統文化，保護我國文化瑰寶不被歷史長河所淹沒。南京作為蘇寧起源之地，將博物館建在此地亦有“飲水思源，不忘初心”之意。XY+Z DESIGN本次受邀參與蘇寧博物館的設計，希望為世人呈現一場跨越時空的文明盛宴。
Suning Museum is another new project of Suning Culture after Suning Art Museum， which aims to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture and protect our cultural treasures from being submerged by the long history。 Choosing Nanjing， which is the birth place of Suning， as the location of the museum also has the meaning of “drinking water and thinking about the source， never forgetting the original intention”。 XY + Z Design， invited to participate in the design of Suning Museum， is trying to present a feast of civilization across time and space for the world。

專案背景
南朝煙雨、六朝風月，十朝都會、歷經榮辱興衰的南京，曾在中國文化史上留下燦爛的篇章。
Nanjing， the capital of ten dynasties， has left a brilliant chapter in the history of Chinese culture。
今日高聳密集的建築、川流不息的人群，最直觀地體現了這座城市鮮活的生命力：時尚繁華，卻氣韻猶存。
Today‘s high-rise buildings and endless flow of people directly reflect the vitality of the city： Fashion and prosperity， but the charm still exists。
我們對專案的理解是這裡應當是一個包容城市歷史並抒寫城市未來的建築空間， 兼收幷蓄、融會貫通、博採眾長。
Our understanding of the project is that it should be an architectural space that contains the history of the city and describes the future of the city

蘇寧博物館南京新館，位於六朝古都南京，建築面積11000平方米，展陳面積超過8000平。是以中國書畫、器物展示為主，輔以西方油畫、雕塑的綜合類博物館，共設常設展廳7個，臨展廳1個。
Nanjing New Museum of Suning Museum， located in Nanjing， the ancient capital of Six Dynasties， has a floor area of 11000 m2 and exhibition area of more than 8000 m2。 It is a comprehensive museum mainly composed of Chinese painting， calligraphy and utensils， supplemented by Western oil painting and sculpture。 There are 7 permanent exhibition halls and 1 temporary exhibition hall。
博物館是文明的見證，更需要內涵。設計的目的是使靜止的文明流動起來，單向傳播的文明多元互動起來，孤獨的文明豐富鮮活起來。所以需要打破時空、古今、中外、動靜的限制。
Museum is the witness of civilization， and needs more connotation。 The purpose of the design is to make the static civilization flow， the one-way communication civilization interact with each other， and the lonely civilization alive。 Therefore， we need to break the restrictions of time and space， ancient and modern， Chinese and foreign， dynamic and static。
博物館本就是跨時空的相遇，是過去與現在的對比、新與舊的對比、來與往的對比、人與物的對比、虛與實的對比、明與暗的對比。所以我們選擇對比的手法，讓時間、空間、人、物，對韻。
Museum is an encounter cross time and space， which is the contrast between past and present， new and old， come and go， human and object，virtual and real， light and dark。 So we choose the method of contrast to bring rhymes to time， space， people and things。
